The 10th season had 22 episodes, which is unusual for the series. It also had a lot to tell. The coronavirus caused production to stop, so the course of the story has taken longer than usual.

To remember: Among the Whisperers were a group of hostile survivors of the zombie pandemic. They believed that humans should return to their animal roots again. As a result, they acted like a pack of wolves led by a woman named Alpha (Samantha Morton).

The situation escalated quickly, until Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) infiltrated the Whisperers and killed Alpha. A final confrontation between the Whisperers and the residents of Hilltop, Alexandria, Oceanside and the Kingdom took place in Episode 16.

Six bonus episodes followed, which impacted the psychology and history of the different characters.

Now that Maggie has had to face many challenges on her own, she has become a much harder fighter. In fact, she has to fight not only for her own survival, but also for that of her son.

In addition to the episode revolving around former opponent Negan, which focuses on his past and his relationship to his now deceased wife, we learn about how he got his iconic baseball bat covered in barbed wire.

The good friends Carol and Daryl also play a vital role in these individual stories. In addition, an unknown group consisting of Eugene, Ezekiel, Yumiko and Prince captures and separates them from each other. Particularly, Princess must face her past trauma during this time.
