The animated content shows many intimate and friendly moments between the four musicians while they prepped and recorded songs for their upcoming last album.

Furthermore, there are outtakes and demos of "The White Album", "Abbey Road" and "Let it be". As an icing on the cake, the documentary also includes music that has not yet been released officially.

In particular, Ringo Starr showed himself impressed by the recordings, which so far only have 20 minutes out. Generally, both the remaining Beatles, Starr and Paul McCartney as well as Yoko Ono, John Lennons widow, and Olivia Harrison, George Harrison's widow were fully behind the film.

These three songs are included on Paul McCartney's 1970 debut album, "Teddy Boy". George Harrison's "Hear Me Lord" and "Isn't It a Pity" appeared on his album "All Things Must Pass" while "Let It Be" was only released as a single in 1969.

This leads to footage looking almost as if it was captured with cameras from the 21st century using High Definition footage.

"Get Back" is by no means boring and provides more context for the recording sessions than "Let it be." While former director Michael Lindsay-Hoggs focused more on the tense moments between the musicians and sketched out a picture of a band about to break up, "Get Back" provides a complete image of this common time.

Paul McCartney has already spoken about this in an interview with Radio Moderator Howard Stern, stating that the four Beatles actually had a lot of fun in the studio: "You can see it in how we respect each other and enjoy working together. It's a joy to see how that develops." Ringo Starr also remembers this, recounting that the four of them laughed for hours on end.

This is the version that Peter Jackson shows. And that provides a much more authentic, peaceful, humorous and loving portrayal of the popular band. He admits that there were also dramatic moments, but these had little to do with the long-time rumored unrest caused by the project.
