Ice Age is a series of movies based on a comic book series that was created by Ray Bradbury. The first movie in the series, Ice Age, was released in 2002. Buck Wild, who has been well known since the third film taking the lead role, together with the two opossum brothers Crash and Eddie, experiences wild adventures underground with the well-known characters around Manni, Sid and Diego also appearing in smaller roles.

The project was originally intended to be a series, through which underwent some changes and ultimately became a movie. The background for this was the closure of the animation studio Blue Sky Studios, which is why Bardel Entertainment now became the production company.
