Disney+ is hosting a celebration in honor of Disney+ Day, which means subscribers can look forward to many new content updates. For only 1.99 Euro, you can try the streaming service for a month (versus 8.99? - represents a 77% discount).

It is also important to note that after the Disney+ subscription trial period, your subscription will convert to a monthly subscription at the regular price of 8.99 Euros. If you do not want this to happen, you should either cancel during the 30 trial days or switch to the more affordable yearly subscription at a price of 89.99 Euros in the year.

You cannot view all content for free in the trial. If you only want to see a few movies from Star Wars or Marvel, it can be done within a week by using Disney+ for free. So first try Disney+ for free to see if you want to buy an account.

Think of course, that the free trial only applies to newcomers. You can't always sign up again to take advantage of another Disney+ trial.

Disney+ set up its Germany launch with a free learning offer, but there was no free trial period; instead, for seven days new subscribers could access the full range of films and series for free, with the only catch being that if they didn't decide to cancel their account within that time, the subscription became billed.

With this limited trial period, it is in comparison to the competition less. Compared to: Amazon Prime Video, Joyn or MagentaTV, which offer you a free monthlong trial period to try their respective platforms more closely. If you cancel your Disney+ subscription in this case, it's practically free. Financially, it pays off to subscribe through the Telekom, but canceling the whole month costs 7 Euros compared to 8.99 Euros directly at Disney+.

In order to be completely transparent, we need to mention that there is also a collaboration between Sky and Disney+ as well. However, there are no free weeks or any price advantages for users in this case.

Consider the fact that this costs less than, for example, a movie ticket and it does not seem so high when you look at it. If you do not like the offer, you can simply cancel and there are no further subscription fees.

With four people, each user would pay an introductory price of 8.99 euros and end up paying only 2.25 euros (75% discount). Although account sharing generally dwells on a gray legal area, it can offer a cheap way to test a streaming service.
